MOXI A gentle reset for brighter, smoother-looking skin

FRESH SKIN WITHOUT THE MAJOR RESET

MOXI

You do not have to wait for significant sun damage or deeper lines to start caring for your skin. MOXI is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser designed to improve early signs of sun exposure, uneven tone, and rough texture—with minimal downtime and a treatment plan that can grow with you. At InBloom Health + Medispa, we use MOXI to help patients refresh the skin they have today and support the skin they want for the years ahead. Whether you are new to laser treatments or looking for a lighter way to maintain previous results, your provider will personalize the intensity, timing, and number of sessions around your skin and your life.

LIGHT RESURFACING. THOUGHTFUL RESULTS.

What Is MOXI?

MOXI is a 1927 nm non-ablative fractional laser from Sciton. Rather than removing the surface of the skin, it delivers controlled columns of energy into the upper layers, creating tiny treatment zones. Your body's natural renewal process then clears damaged cells and replaces them with healthier-looking skin.

Because MOXI is gentle and highly customizable, it can be used as an early 'prejuvenation' treatment, a seasonal refresh, or part of an ongoing skin-maintenance plan. It is appropriate for all skin types and can be performed throughout the year when paired with responsible sun protection and provider guidance.

A LITTLE BRIGHTER. A LOT MORE EVEN.

What Can MOXI Treat?

MOXI may be recommended to improve:

  • Early signs of sun damage and superficial pigmentation
  • Uneven skin tone and a dull-looking complexion
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • The appearance of fine lines and early visible aging
  • Overall radiance and skin quality

MOXI is most often used on the face, but it may also be used on areas such as the neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs. Your provider will help determine whether MOXI—or another option—is best suited to the concern you want to address.

MEET YOUR SKIN WHERE IT IS

Am I a Good Candidate for MOXI?

MOXI is a versatile choice for adults across a wide range of ages and skin tones. It can be especially appealing if you are beginning a professional skincare routine, noticing the first changes in tone or texture, or want to maintain results without committing to a more aggressive resurfacing treatment. A consultation is still essential. Your InBloom provider will review your skin, medical history, medications, recent sun exposure, and goals before recommending treatment. Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, prone to cold sores, taking photosensitizing medication, or have an active rash, infection, or open skin in the treatment area.

QUICK ENOUGH FOR REAL LIFE

Your MOXI Procedure

Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before treatment. Depending on the intensity selected, topical numbing cream may be applied in advance, and cooling air may be used for comfort. Your provider will then guide the MOXI handpiece across the treatment area in a series of even passes. Most patients describe a warm or prickly sensation. A facial treatment itself can take approximately 8 to 10 minutes, excluding numbing and preparation time. Treatment length varies by area and the personalized settings used.

MINIMAL DOWNTIME—WITH A VISIBLE HEALING PROCESS

MOXI Recovery

Your skin may feel warm and look pink or red after treatment. Over the next few days, tiny dark dots called MENDs may appear as treated tissue moves toward the surface. The skin can feel dry, rough, or sandpaper-like before these areas naturally flake away—typically around days three to five. Do not scrub or pick at them. Keep your routine simple while your skin heals: use a gentle cleanser, moisturize generously, avoid exfoliants and unapproved active ingredients, and wear a physical broad-spectrum sunscreen. Makeup may generally be applied after 24 hours, but always follow the personalized aftercare instructions provided by your InBloom provider.

THE GLOW IS WORTH THE WAIT

MOXI Results

As the MENDs shed, renewed skin begins to show through. Many patients notice a smoother, brighter, more even-looking complexion within five to seven days. Improvement can continue as the skin completes its renewal process.

The right number of treatments depends on your goals and the level of correction desired. A common corrective plan includes three to four treatments spaced about four to five weeks apart, followed by periodic maintenance. Some patients notice a meaningful refresh after a single session. Your provider will recommend only what makes sense for your skin.

MOXI has minimal social downtime, but the skin does go through a visible renewal process. Expect temporary redness, warmth, dryness, and small dark MENDs that typically flake away over several days. Makeup may generally be worn after 24 hours.

MENDs are microscopic areas of treated tissue that appear as tiny dark dots after a fractional laser treatment. They may feel rough or dry before naturally sloughing away. Do not pick, scrub, or exfoliate them.

Many corrective plans include three to four treatments spaced about four to five weeks apart. Others use MOXI periodically for maintenance. Your recommendation will depend on your starting point, goals, and response to treatment.

Many patients notice brighter, smoother-looking skin in approximately five to seven days, once the initial healing process is complete. Results vary, and a series may be recommended for greater correction.

MOXI is designed for all skin types, including darker skin tones. Safe treatment still depends on personalized settings, current skin condition, medical history, and recent sun exposure, so consultation is important.

MOXI can be performed year-round, but sun protection is essential. Your provider may adjust timing based on recent tanning, upcoming travel, outdoor activities, or your ability to avoid direct sun while healing.
